Noksel Espa\u00f1a\u2019s sponsored team, <strong>Hyperloop UPV<\/strong>, attended for the third time in a row with their recently introduced pod, \u00abValentia\u00bb, and ranked <strong>the 8<sup>th<\/sup> position<\/strong> out of seventeen teams.<\/p>\n<p>Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia posted daily information about the competition and how the Spanish team was working in California. At the beginning of the competition, \u00abValentia\u00bb succeeded every initial control inspection and it was <strong>very lauded by the jury<\/strong>. Hyperloop UPV was on the top of the ranking until a valve failed, being the first obstacle that they repaired quick and efficiently. The team kept working and adjusting their pod\u2019s features but the following difficulties within the electrical system made the Spanish team not able to perform in the vacuum pipe test.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nokselspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/hyperloop-noksel-03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3427 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/nokselspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/hyperloop-noksel-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"243\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There were only six teams that <strong>tested their pods in the 1,2 km steel pipe<\/strong> of SpaceX\u2019s facilities in California. Last year, German team WARR Hyperloop from Technical University of Munich reached 324 km\/h, being the fastest in the competition. A few days ago, the same team accomplished a new record and victory of the competition with 466 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the non-qualification for the vacuum pipe test, Hyperloop UPV team learned and enjoyed the competition: new ideas, new technological innovation and new data that will help to keep developing a <strong>faster transportation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Hyperloop Pod Competition is a demanding competition where <strong>high-level engineering<\/strong> meet<span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">s<\/span>: pods\u2019 security measures, procedures and requirements equal rocket demanding conditions. The tests are complex and difficult to surpass and succeed, although \u00abValentia\u00bb was able to accomplish\u00a0most of them along with the difficulties. <strong>Hyperloop UPV\u2019s pod and teamwork impressed SpaceX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We congratulate and welcome the team back! El equipo <strong>Hyperloop UPV<\/strong>, al que patrocina Noksel Espa\u00f1a cedi\u00e9ndole la tuber\u00eda de acero para su banco de pruebas, repet\u00eda por tercera vez su presencia en la competici\u00f3n con<strong> su reci\u00e9n presentado pod, \u00abValentia\u00bb<\/strong>, quedando en una <strong>octava posici\u00f3n<\/strong> de entre los diecisiete participantes.\r\n\r\nGracias a una cr\u00f3nica diaria a trav\u00e9s de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia, hemos podido seguir d\u00eda a d\u00eda los avances del joven equipo y c\u00f3mo han ido <strong>superando todos los obst\u00e1culos<\/strong> que se les han presentado. Empezaron la semana con luz verde en las fases de control iniciales, siendo muy alabado su pod y encabezando la tabla hasta el fallo de una v\u00e1lvula, primer obst\u00e1culo que superaron con agilidad y entereza. El equipo sigui\u00f3 trabajando y ajustando las caracter\u00edsticas de su pod pero las dificultades surgidas posteriormente en el sistema el\u00e9ctrico hizo que los valencianos no pudieran clasificarse para la prueba en el tubo de vac\u00edo.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/nokselspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/hyperloop-noksel-03.jpg\"><img class=\"size-full wp-image-3426 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/nokselspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/hyperloop-noksel-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"243\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nSolo seis equipos pudieron probar sus pods en los <strong>1,2 kil\u00f3metros de largo de tuber\u00eda de acero<\/strong> que tienen las instalaciones de SpaceX en California. El equipo alem\u00e1n WARR Hyperloop de la Universidad T\u00e9cnica de Munich supo defender su t\u00edtulo y alcanzar un nuevo r\u00e9cord: 466 km\/h, superando su propio r\u00e9cord establecido el a\u00f1o pasado en 324 km\/h.\r\n\r\nNo obstante, <strong>el sabor es de victoria y conocimiento<\/strong> adquirido para Hyperloop UPV. Cada paso en la competici\u00f3n es una idea, una mejora, una innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica que desarrollar en equipo y una motivaci\u00f3n para seguir trabajando en el desarrollo del transporte m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido.\r\n\r\nLa competici\u00f3n es cada vez <strong>m\u00e1s exigente<\/strong>, siendo uno de los encuentros donde la ingenier\u00eda est\u00e1 al m\u00e1s alto nivel y donde las medidas de seguridad, los procedimientos y los requisitos que deben tener los pods igualan a las condiciones que se exigen a un cohete espacial. Las pruebas son muy complejas y dif\u00edciles de superar, y \u00abValentia\u00bb ha podido superar los imprevistos y gran parte de las pruebas que se les han exigido a los participantes de este a\u00f1o.
